Can from West Side. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam. Lots of juicy citrus with a touch of tropical fruit. Light and crushable. Good bitterness, but not overly so. Best of the KY available terrapins. Noice! --- Beer merged from original tick of RecreationAle on 12 Mar 2017 at 14:50 - Score: 7. Original review text: Lots of juicy citrus with a touch of tropical. A middle-of-the-road example of a middle-of-the-road style. Starts with a sudden burst of grapefruit and pine, adds a teensy-weensy malt backbone hinting at grain and biscuit, then fades into a fizzy, bitter finish. Not a big fan of the session IPA in the first place, but I guess RecreationAle is a serviceable take on the style. Eh.

Can to pint glass. Stamped 3/1/17 so assumed 3,1/2 months old. A: Poured a nice pillowy beige head of 1/2" which held for a few minutes and never completely dissipated. Pale clear pinkish gold with a few bubbles and spotty lace. S: Pine and faint orange over a background of honeysuckle or caramel. T: Bitter and woody at first with pine then a hint of orange pith and zest finishing. No flavor especially dominant. M: Feels even lighter than 4.7 with soft but crisp carbonation and slightly resinous finish. O: Another pretty nice SIPA. Well balanced taste and sensible price. Not outstanding but well worth a buy.

Can: Pours very hazy, yellow-gold with a large off-white head. Lime, light caramel malt scent. Taste is lightly bitter lime.....grapefruit-peel. All the Lime notes make for a nice change of pace from the typical IPA flavours.... A little watery, after a bit, but enjoyable, overall.

Can. Lactic orange-lime, caramel malt, and pine/grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large off-white head. Lightly sweet orange-lime, toffee malt and moderately bitter earthy lime peel flavor. Body a bit light. Pleasant sessionable ale.

On tap at the Terrapin Smoke Lounge. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium mouth, sweet hop, citrus, light finish, good.
