Good session IPA. Pours cloudy gold with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness, some sourness, some citrus. Tap at Churchkey.

New Beer Distributors, NYC 12oz ($3): Pours orange with a long-lasting, slightly off-white head. Aroma is citrus hops and a hefty dose of them, some other tropical fruits are there as well. Taste is nice and bitter up front with the hops keeping a presence into the aftertaste. Body is great for a session IPA; it ain’t watery and thin at all. Very well done from a very good brewery.

Draft - Pale malt and piney hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Up front pine and a mellow malt finish that ends clean and slightly sweet.

Crisp, light amber coloured body with a nice copper glow and a ridiculously thick, five centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright piney, graperuity and especially pineappley hops with a bunch of resinous notes throughout. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent hop flavour of resin mostly with some herbal and piney bites coming soon afterwards. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop flavours with a wide complexity with a touch of malt (not much), some light herbal notes and a lot of grass throughout. Overall, a very pungently hopped (and dry hopped) beer with not much body. Great to taste, especially in the summer or when it’s hot - a great profile throughout that hits exactly the way it should. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 9-March-2014 for US$2.29 sampled at home in Washington on 06-April-2014.

New rating, 4/24/21: Pint can, Kroger 29. Clear gold with a shite head that quickly diminishes. Nose is very faint: citrus peel, light pine. Flavor is weak pine, citrus peel, wet paper. Clearly either the recipe has changed since my last rating or my tastes have changed... as there's little to this. original rating from February 9, 2014: 7/3/8/3/15 $1.65 Can, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours light golden with a large off-white foamy head. Smells of grapefruit and pine. Tastes of delicious orange, orange peel, with light malt characteristics. Maybe a bit watery, but would make a nice session ale.

Honey, pine, and marigold bouquet, nice strength. Clear amber, medium lacy head. Dry mild grass flavor initially but a moderate intensification of marigold notes occurs. Sessionable with heaps of aromatic hops. Nicely done for what it is intended to be.

Draft. Hazy light golden amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of grass and citrus. Taste is freshly cutbhay, lemongrass. Nice.

12 ounce can from Whole Foods Charlottesville, Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a 4-finger foamy white head. Good head retention. Herbal, floral hop aroma with mild caramel malts. The taste is caramel malt with a bit of raw-ness, herbal, pine, floral hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, slight lingering bitterness. Solid beer.

The pour is a clear light gold with a tall white head. Hop aroma of pine with citrus in the back. Crisp bitter flavor. Resiny. The body is light. This one strikes me as more of Pale ale than an IPA.
