Shared 355ml bottle at Bistro Trägårn, Kiruna. A few patches at the surface of a hazy, apricot coloured body. Grainy malts and spiced fruity nose. Pumpkin, dried fruits, earthy malts and a bite of almond in the flavour character. Bittersweet tail. Ok, 27.04.2012.

12 fl oz bottle at Bishops Arms, Linköping, on January 7, 2012Hazy amber color, big lasting white head. Malty, caramel, grainy, barley, fudge, straw scent. Some faint hops in the scent as well. Malty, sweet, bitter, hoppy taste. Moussy mouthfeel, high bitterness. Bitter, grainy, fudge aftertaste. Nice and malty, a bit too bitter for me. I’d drink it again.

(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 23 June 2011) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of apricots, citrus, orange and hints of grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with apricots, orange and a generous grapefruity bitterness in the finish. Slightly more than medium body, with a solid malt foundation and balanced sweetness. More mellow and balanced than your average in-your-face American IPA, but it sure stands its ground well. Fresh, tasty and very nice.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with firm light tan head. The mild aroma offers up spicy hops and a touch of malts. The taste has a pleasing full spicy hoppiness with equal amounts of bitterness and hop flavor. By midway it is all bitter hops getting a bit resiny at times too. Around the edges are thin layers of floral hops and faint malt sweetness. Yummy ESB.

From a 355ml bottle on 19/10/2010. Has a pleasant, though relatively subtle sweet, fruity, floral, caramel and toffee aroma. This one is bursts with the flavours hinted at in the nose. Loads of sweet toffee and caramel malt, citrus fruit (oranges), with some bready and nutty hints. Magnificently hoppy. Think of a Fullers ESB on steroids. An outstanding brew.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, orange beer topped by a minimal off-white head. The aroma has some beer-stock like malts, peachy hops, some notes of tea, and when it warms, some alcohol escapes the glass. It’s sweet and piney in the flavor, a nice bitterness follows you to the finish. Medium body, smooth and nicely carbonated. A decent one, nothing special, but easy to drink. 100310

12 fl. oz. bottle, courtesy of Patricks Pub. Almost clear, dark orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is mild malty with a nice fruity hop aroma. Flavor is refreshing, clean malty, sharp bitter and citric fruity. Nice balanced and really quaffable.
