A hazy, amber-orange pour with a thin white head. The aroma has floral and grassy hops mixed with some light, bready malt. The light body has an oily texture with soft carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter with a very dry finish.

Pint at Antenna America. It poured a cloudy amber color with an off-white head. It has a nice mild hop aroma, a nice malty taste and a bitter hop finish. Very good.

Total Wine Fairfax 12oz ($2): Although I have had this long ago, I wanted to try it again so as to rate it. Pours a copper colour with a thick head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruitiness, and hops. Taste is quite excellent, especially for an ESB. Hoppiness is really upfront and the malt backbone carries this beer. Carbonation is soft and chuggability is high. Balance is excellent and Anderson Valley kills it with this beer.

12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquors. Served in an English pint. Transparent golden color with a light amber type hue. Fast diminishing white head, light retention. Nose of bread and floral hops. Taste is no surprise; toasted malty sweetness and a mild hoppy bitterness. Overall I don’t drink many ESB’s. I got this just as a changeup of styles. Not bad but it didn’t make me want to drink more or try more examples of the style. I guess if you drink ESB’s you may enjoy this.
