An absurd amount of new school German hops Huell Mellon & Manderina Bavaria are accented with Mosaic & Centennial laid upon a base of pale malts, flaked oats and lactose.. lingering herbaceous bitterness floats on a cotton candy wave.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: murky dark orange/amber cardboard look to it with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: citrusy to tropical fruity hops up front with some sugary/candy-like oddities, subtle grassy hops in the middle; clean malts further down in there
Flavor: leans towards the sweet side of this one with some clean bittering hoppiness trying to balance but also allows some of the noted sugary/candy qualities from the aroma to embrace this and then lead into an odd finish of candied tropical fruits
Texture: medium bodied, I think maybe a touch under; somewhat sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue and gets creamy as well
Overall: I believe this was one of the first "milkshake IPA's" I may have ever had or closer to the beginning of this style at least and well, needless to say I wasn't exactly impressed back then and am still trying to understand this style in the year of 2026.

Canned. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Dank aroma with zest and some citrus as well as mild melon tones. Flavour is dank, fruity, melon, some citrus and mild bready malts. Not all that much bitterness. Nah, not my thing.

32oz crowler pours with a near clear gold to somewhat copper colored body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up faded with age candy like fruity hops as well as syrup drizzled floral hoppiness. Interesting. The taste delivers fairly bitter floral and pine hoppiness balanced mildly by juicy to candy like citrus hoppiness. Toward the finish a mild sweetness intercedes and pushes back the bitter largely floral hops. Decent.

From tap (most probably) at the Muted Horn, Berlin. Clear golden color with white head. Malty aroma, bread, old hops. Old keg? Sweet and bitter taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.
