50cl can (4,6%) from SuperAlko, Tallinn. Pours clear amber to caramel coloured with a creamy white nitro head. Aroma of caramel, malt and ripe fruits with hints of hops and grapes. Medium to moderate sweet and malty with caramel flavour and lightly hoppy finish. Creamy and smooth, but fairly watery. Some bitterness in the finish, but not much. Easy to drink, but quite ordinary.

Can. Pours gold with a white head. Mild aroma - maybe some malts and grass? Taste is malt, bread, grass, cardboard. Metallic notes. Mild bitterness.

From Nov 2007

This pours from 1 pint can a dull, slightly hazy gold with a solid 2 finger head of foam with lots of lacing. It *is* a nitro can after all. ;^)

The smell has a nose of bitter hops and a touch of honey sweetness.

The taste matches the smell...good hop bitterness(no citrus really, just bitter) with some honey sweetness and some metallic taste. Silky smooth mouthfeel here and it finishes slightly bitter; the finish is actually the only part that I don't fancy too much but over all, this is a pretty good taster and so darn easy to drink. I don't know why I like Boddingtons, I just do and I buy it every so often.

On tap at my hotel in Exeter. Pours a hazy dark gold with plenty of creamy, white head. Nose has treacle, honey, malt. Butterscotch. Hmm. Flavor is remarkably drier, malt, toffee chew, honey, dough. Finishes lightly sweet and doughy.
