50 cl. nitro-can from SB. Clear, amber-golden colour with a thin, dense, white nitro-head. Fruity, somewhat subdued aroma with bread, green apples, lightly toasted malts, caramel and grasses. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and lightly bitter with fruits, earthy hops and light caramel malts. Okay Bitter.

50 cl nitro-can in Hong Kong, 19 HK$. 5.7%. Clear amber color, thick creamy off-white head. Bubblegum nose. Taste is slightly caramellized, mildly malty, brown sugar, almond. Balanced taste, smooth bitterness. Low carbonation, easy to go with. Quite ok can bitter.

Drought. Rich yellow with creamy beige head, very little doughy aroma, low carbonation, stale bread like taste, abrupt finish. Pretty awful for a bitter.

(Can) Clear amber brown with dense creamy head. Subtle aroma with pleasant hints of hops. Palate lacks balance, the body is rather thin and watery, but the head is a dense mat on top of it - odd. Taste has rather a sharp metallic tang to it, not sure whether that is from it being a canned beer or some harsh hops. There’s some light caramel to balance, although negligible sweetness. Disappointing - it’s not the Boddies I used to drink in "the old country".

Can from Asahiya, it pours a clear copper with that classic nitro pour which looks cool if nothing else. It leaves behind a thick creamy looking head. Mild caramel aroma, soft smooth mouthfeel but it comes off a bit watery. The taste is grainy sweet malts mostly caramel with some bitterness. Pretty meh, it is just too watery for me. This can was past date though from the ratings I don’t think much changed. The best thing about this beer is it’s appearance.
