Bottle, 2005 vintage, from Lithy, thanks! Orange color, cloudy, chunks of yeast. Malt, raisin, porto and oak in the aroma. Malty sugary sweet flavor with porto, oak, alcohol, grapes and citrus. Oaky porto aftertaste with vanilla. Very nice!

275ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan 19. Thanks paul for this. Pours hazy brown, off white bubbles. Big rich aroma, taste is thick sweet fairly heavy, some oxidised cobwebs. Boozy.

275ml bottle; 2005 brew, 11.5% ABV. Shared on 28th Jan 2019. Obviously a little passed it's best but still a lovely, lovely drink. Boozy and pretty sweet with a 'snow storm' of sediment in the glass. Really enjoyed my fifth of the bottle.

2015 bottle. RAD Beer. Dropped a bollock here by pouring in a load of sediment, but it dropped pretty quick. Deep, copper red. Light haze. No head to speak of. Nose has port wine. Raisins. Steeped fruit. Oak. Sweet sherry. It’s nine days from Christmas day, and this is coming across very festive. Taste is sweet and sticky. Minimal twang of old, steeped fruit bitterness. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Rich but easy drinking. Light, fine carbonation lifts the stickiness nicely. Sweet and fruity finish, with the port barrel showing throughout. Absolute treat.

9.3 oz bottle from Tavour. 2015 vintage. Aroma is raisin, sherry, wood, port, dark fruit, licorice. Pours murky brownish-orange with a thin beige head that falls into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is sweet with flavors like the aroma with raisin being strong in particular. There's also a quiet spicy character in the background. Slightly oxidized. Carbonation is light, mouthfeel oily. Nice BW, but very rich.

12oz bottle pours out copper topped with a small head. Nose is sweet toffee rich malts port and cork. Tatse is more of the sweet malts port oak and some cork.

2014 special draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of white head that dissipates. Lots of bright apricot, prune and fall fruit aromas with vanilla and sherry notes. The sherry-like notes really stands out as it warms. Clean and crisp with a sweet palate. Smooth and light, with lots of fruit notes throughout. So smooth with more creamy sherry-like notes. Finish lingers. --- Beer merged from original tick of Harvest Ale (Port) on 03 Mar 2018 at 00:50 - Score: 8. Original review text: Lots of prunevabd fall fruit aromas with vanilla and sherry notes. Clean and crisp with a sweet palate. Smooth and light, but enjoyable.

Refrigerated 2014 small brown bottle poured into a snifter. Opaque burnt orange with small beige head. Aroma is rich caramel malt, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is rich caramel, port, toffee, and some oak. Really good beer at three years old. Might even be better with even more age. *At seven years old this is delicious. At 9 years past prime.
