On tap at The Beer Junction, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light cocoa, some perfume and medium roast. Flavour is very harsh, with lots of perfumey notes from the oak chips, booze, and roasted malt. This is harsh and boozy, certainly due to the oak chips. It's good, but overbearingly abrasive.

Draft @ Hop Nuts Brewing, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel chocolate fudge aroma. Roasted malty caramel fudge flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel fudge finish.

A deep brown stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light peated character, light mineral notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla notes, light peated notes, light molasses, dark fruits, very nice. On tap at Chicago brewery.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was toasty with cocoa, marshmallow, vanilla, anise, cola and red wine. The flavor was bitter and roasty with marshmallow, cocoa, red wine, anise, vanilla and touches of alcohol and smoke. Very long finish with growing smokiness. Moderately full bodied.

On tap thick muddy looking dark brown black with a thin lasting tan head. Lost of chocolate roastiness Decent bitter and a thick slick feel. A lot of residuals on this a barely bitter enough. Heavy and a little sweet. Tasty.
