330 ml bottle. Pours a very hazy dark amber with light head. Aromas of wet malts and grass plus some toffee and floral notes. Big malty flavor with caramel and bitter grass. Also some lemon and more light floral notes.

330ml bottle. Barely clear amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Malty aroma has notes of almond, a nuttily touch, sedate, resinous hoppy overtones. Taste is heavily bitter hoppy, minimally acidic, minimally sweet, heavy, biscuity, malty basis, almond notes. Clean, heavy, Barley Wine-like - a hefty ordnance.

Pours hazy copper/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, malty, caramel and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Kick. A hazy, dark golden to amber beer with a dense finger thick head. Curtains. Rather malty aroma, caramel and some alcohol, with a fruity, piney touch. Full body, nice carbonation, some warmth. Nice bitterness in the flavor, some malty sweetness and caramel, and grass, pine cones and citrus peel. Lasting finish. A bit unusual this one, but nice. 150723

Dobre, niemal doskonale mocne amerykanskie Ale. Piana spora, zapach pieczonych jablek oraz szarlotki unosi sie nad piana, jasno hrerbaciany kolor, lekko metny. Alkohol slodycz daje, a wrazenie jakby likierowy byl. Ogolnie dobre irzetelnie przygotowane wspolnie piwo.

Draught@In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Hazy amber colour, mediumsized creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mild herbal and nutty notes along with an alcoholic sting. Flavour is fruity, floral, some alcoholic and mild toffeeish notes. A bit too boozy for my likes.

Draught @ In de Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma has strawberry juice, some resiny tones and vanilla. Flavour has resin, woody notes, minerals, vanilla and some strawberries. Sweet, heavy and resiny strawberry juice with some acidic tones but I seem to enjoy this one.
