On tap @ Kick. Unclear dark orange body with a small tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, peach, dry fruit and some grapefruit. Flavor is sweet, really sweet caramel malt, dry fruit, peaches, grapefruit, some pine and nice bitterness with warming alcohol. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. Could have been really great, but ends up way too sweet and sticky for me. Not bad, just very sweet for a full glass.

On tap @ In De Wildeman, sample size, thanks to Simon. Amber color, hazy. Big frothy off white head with good retention. Aroma’s: resin, malty sweetness (caramel), sweet (and some sour) fruits. Retronasal it’s sweet, resinous, citrus, some dark malts. Flavor is moderate sweet, medium to full bitter. Medium to full bodied. Finishes with some dark malts at first, then resin and long lasting herbal bitterness.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big tropical fruit citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth rich woody hop, fruity, light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A super smooth alcoholic DIPA where the alcohol is well and truly in the background. I enjoyed this so much that I will order another when I was going home. The ultimate compliment!

330 ml. bottle. Split with Kraddel. Purchased @ Malt Attacks. Bottled on 18/11/2014. Dark amber, uneven head. Nose is older marmalade bitter, bitter grapefruit peel but still a surprising amount of hops, pine resin, rather big malt presence, herbal bitterness,… Bitterness is still quite strong but of the herbal variety, bitter herbal grapefruit peel, faint yeast, quite malty, crystal malts, sweet bitter mandarin peel malts, big malt presence,.. Malty body but not overly heavy. Would have liked it probably more if it were fruitier but the big malt back bone gave it the ability to last pretty well. Rather nice still.

Gran cerveza tropical y dulce. Para repetir sin duda.

Bottle from de Molen beershop, dated 18/11/14 BB 18/11/15, large sample. Clear copper color, short frothy head. Aroma is very hoppy, grassy, pine, grapefruit, citrus, quite some caramel malt as well. Medium bitter in taste, bit sweet as well, some orange. Slight onedimensional on the malt, almost more of a DIPA with a touch of special B perhaps. Decent beer, but it seems a bit harsh on the palate.
