Bomber from Bootleggin’ Barzini’s, Coralville. A strong piny hop nose assaults me immediately upon opening the cap. A light orange nose, but also a bit of apricot among the one resin hops. Very cloudy orange beer in the glass. Taste is full of more of the same hops. I still get mostly pine resin with a small hint of citrus and stone fruit. Also, though, some still fresh leaf hops. There’s some malt noticeable, but it’s very light, does not try to balance off against this hop load. In other words, it’s almost sessionable; so you’ll either pucker trying to get this down or swig all of its hop deliciousness.

Bottle thanks to Jack. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a strong grassy note with a bit of tropical fruit with a grain backbone. Flavor has a good amount of earthy grass with a hint of dryness and a light grain note.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is very fruity, with tropical fruits, piney hops, and slight floral notes. Flavour is quite bright, with melon, light citrus, light hops, and mineraly notes. I'd say this is overrated, but this is certainly nice. Characterized by the melon. Good beer.
