Saison Station 55 is a red beer with a veiled appearance, with a pronounced taste of malt, spices and hops reminiscent of citrus fruits, coupled with a bitterness on the finish. The 55 is intended to be a hybrid between a local Belgian beer and an American-style IPA.

Bottle from the brewery thanks to Fred!
Hazy orange pour with a big thick bubbly offwhite head. Love the aroma! Some great funk notes mixed with some sharp hops and some crisp citrus notes. Some wet grass and light straw also. Flavour is sharp and bitter. Done awesome citrus and touches of funk. The finish is dry and bitter and ends with a great sour lemon bite! Awesome beer!

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear gold with 2 full fingers of foam that lingers. Estery saison yeast nose with black pepper, clove and banana. Bone dry on the palate with pepper and pith. Slightly warming with quite a bitter finish for the style. --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison Station 55 on 08 Apr 2018 at 20:42 - Score: 7. 0.33 l can from Hoppiness, Koper, Slovenia. Shared at a drinking session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Thanks! Murky golden, creamy white head, some visible sediment. Spicy and herbal, sugary, yeasty. Very sweet, some dryness develops later on. Thick and sticky texture, medium body, moderate carbonation, sweet finish. Very sweet and sticky with a slight lack of spices or hops.

On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. A hazy golden beer topped by an off-white head. Nice lacings. The aroma is fruity, with piney and peachy scents. Some white sugar and pale malts. It’s dry and bitter on the palate, full to medium bodied and with a little malty touch as a backdrop for pine cones, peaches and a generic fruityness. White sugar too, but not the sweetness. Lasting fruity finish. It’s too much on the white sugar side for me, and lacking a bit on the peppery yeastyness I like in saisons. 150611

Bottle, 0.75l, shared with colleagues. Pours cloudy amber orange color with medium soapy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of yeast, citrus, passion fruit and cereals. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy with honey note, following is resinous, mild fruity and herbal, mouth feel is dry and mild spicy with light bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Very nice and easy drinking...
