Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish toasted malt and grain with a touch of apples and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable, but a bit dusty.

Engel Volksfestbier, Flasche von Edeka, Niederorschel. - Kupfergold, blank. - In der Nase süßlich-breiteres, stumpfes helles Malz, matt karamellig und schwach kräuterig-hopfig. - Antrunk breit aber matt malzig mit leicht limonadiger orangenfruchtiger Note, die in matte, schwach muffige Bittere ohne gute Hopfenaromen ausläuft. Gut rezent, vollmundig, leicht fuselig. Im Abgang matte Bittere mit billigen fruchtigen Zügen, leicht ranzig. - Ruppiges Festbier, matt malzig, überfruchtig und leicht fuselig-muffig; kein Genuß. Bottle. Golden color. Malty bready, soft grassy aroma and flavor. Notes of hay. Hint of apple. Sweetish, almost medium bodied. Not too bad.

500 ml fles met draaidop, schenkt helder gouden met beperkte witte kraag. aroma van goedkope mout en graan, duffe hop, mais. smaken evenzo, redelijk zoet, zacht, veel co2, graan, massa productiebier met de allergoedkoopste en slechtste ingrediënten die je maar kunt vinden.

Sampled from bottle. Clear golden color, small to average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, grains, slightly bitter, slightly sweet. Average body and carbonation. Oh well, drinkable.

330 ml. bottle sampled. Thanks to Benzai. Clear golden, little white head. Skunky nose. Taste is oily skunky lager with cooked cabbage, DMS-like notes,… Huge on skunk, just not good.

Bottle shared thanks to Benzai. Pours clear golden with an off white head. Aroma of light grain and malt. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.
