As Paradise Now. Hazy reddish-orange color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a dense film. Sparse strings of lace. Raspberry, wheat and malt aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of raspberry, wheat, cherry and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a berry and cherry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Hazy golden and orange coloured body with a slightly deeper, copper coloured tint and a very faint, fast-dying thin, single centimetre tall pale white head that fades to just about nothing a few seconds later. Aroma of soured and tart fruit with the berries showing through at first and then adding some lemons and citrus along the way with a dry herbal and grassy note, but more emphasis on the soured fruits, pale wheat and dry notes. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Deep soured and tart raspberry notes are the strongest by far that have a good balance of sweetness and tart flavours, but some wheat follows right behind and also a dry kick of grass and hay also comes through, all ending with a very short salt and brine kick at the end. Aftertaste is dry, deep and incredibly tart and pungent, in a good way, with the fruits and malt blending well and leaving things sweet, dry and soured (more of that than anything else, of course). Overall, a nice berliner, with a lot of dry and almost herbal flavours, but more of a wheat and especially a soured fruit note than anything else. Good to sample and perhaps my first beer from Alabama?!? I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Krog St Market (Hop City Store) in Atlanta, Georgia on 30-May-2018 for US$1,89 sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-June-2020 after returning my my last trip to the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Sampled from 0.355 l can. Slightly hazy, amber with a white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently fruity aroma of lemon, rhubarb and some raspberries. Slightly sweet, gently sour, quite fruity taste of lemon, rhubarb and some raspberries, followed by a short, gently tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Well-balanced, mellow Berliner Weisse.

355ml can. Cloudy, reddish golden, amber colopur with average to huge, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, slightly artificial, sherbet-like, raspberry aroma, some citric acid. Taste is slightly dry, tart, lactic and citric, minimally fruity, cautious hints of raspberry, a touch of sauerkraut; minimally papery finish with a cardboard touch.

Raspberry nose. Hazy pale amber, good frothy off-white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma raspberry, canned strawberries, candy sugar, tart notes. Taste medium sweet and sour, pale malt, tart, raspberries. Fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, lingering raspberry taste. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Refreshing, more a mild sour ale than a Berliner weisse imo, nice.
