This sweet tart sour ale is full of Turkish Delight cherries, giving it a puckered up punch of cherry charm, then it's fermented with some Brettanomyces for that extra funky funk. We love you, Cherry Jane. Do ya?

(Bottle) Dark red colour with foamy pinkish beige head. Fruity nose with cherries, spices, marzipan, blood orange and white bread. Fruity, tart taste with notes of cherries, white bread, spices, almonds, marzipan and pink grapefruit. Hardly any bitterness. Medium body, dry. Generous acidity. Rich cherry character. Not overly complex, but tasty and refreshing. Very nice.

Deep very robust ruby and crimson coloured body with a pinkish but turning to pale-ish white coloured head on top that starts at around a centimetre or two and fades to just about nothing a few seconds later. Aroma of robust fresh cherries, sour candy, a touch of citrus and pungent acidity and yes, the deep tartness of turkish cherry juice (or perhaps a dash of turkish delights, but on the less sweet side) with a hint of alcohol and malts noticeable in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong robust tart cherry notes with some candy and fresh fruit flavours along with a soft wheat and maltiness that shows some dry and herbal flavours, but the fresh real fruits are very nice here with a soft turkish delight sweetness from the candy, but this really tastes more like the cappi tart turkish cherry juice that's ubiquitous in istanbul. Aftertaste shows a good sour, tart and fruity beer with a very mild and light wheat note, but a dry, grassy and floral quality towards the end, very nice, tart and fruity without any cloying sweetness. Overall, a very nice, easy-drinking, yet super tart and slightly sweet, pure fresh cherry fruit notes dominate in a great way with a touch of flowers and dryness on the end. Great to sample and if you enjoy sour cherry candy or tart cherry juice from Turkey, this one is a must-have and even if you just 'enjoy' fruit beers, this one is definitely worth trying as well, since it's such a clean cut of cherries throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce, stubby bottle, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-December-2019 for US$2,19 sampled at my house here in Washington on 23-February-2021.

Klarröd vätska med fingertjock skum. Doft av körsbär och bittermandel. Syrlig smak som är vansinnigt tunn i smaken. Förutom surkörsbär finns där bara vatten. En liten besvikelse,

I could not wait to taste this bottle. It looks like bubbling cherry juice in the glass, its red and clear and bubbly. Nice thin pink head as well. The taste is, well, if this is beer, its pretty darn good. It tastes like carbonated tart cherries and there is no sign of beer. Mind you, its not sweet like so many fru-fru-fruity brews, its just a nice friendly tart brew with a 5.5%. 5.5%? No way! Be careful, this stuff is so well behaved you may forget its actually beer. In the middle, I'm liking this, its so nice, its so friendly, its much not like beer; actually it even comes across like a cherry cider if you can believe that? Yes, I like cherries and in the end, I think this may even help my gout, heheeh. Yummy, glad I bought it, I should have got a sixer. Thanks Laggy.
