Just after opening our brewery, working long nights, weekends, and still working our day jobs, my brother Daniel (the brewer) had twins. Cheers to his courage and dedication to making better beer.

Bouteille 500ml. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen-faible.

You know, I used to pour beers against the side of the glass but eventually just gave up in favour of beer ratings - pour it down the middle and let it do what it likes, right? Like, how much effort do I have to give to a brew to let it do what it’s supposedly supposed to? So this pours amazing with a huge head and a nice clear golden body. The aroma is a lot of sweet hops, pineapple and mango hops, very good hoppiness here indeed. The flavour is a subdued affair of fruitiness, mostly mango, simplicity indeed in a relaxed manner. Medium finish, solid, not watery. It’s a strong showing, but not necessarily particularily unique. However I’d love to have this with some Maine scallops on an autumn evening. I’d farq’ing luuurv that.

Bottle from Hegedorns. Big juicy tropical fruit nose, mango, passion, pine, slightly stinky edge, light caramel and even chocolate. Shiny, glowing orange, low head. Sweet and fruity, great citrus and topical, peppery hop finish with low but lingering bitterness. Light pine, oranges, some minerals. MAybe a bit too sweet but lovely hop flavors. Excellent.

Reviewed from notes. I poured this into a nonic. It pours a clear light golden color and leaves the same color body with a faint orange hue. The white head was about three fingers for about a good two minutes before slowly dieing. The lacing was light, and somewhat spotty. Some carbonation was seen rising. No rings were left as the beer was sipped.
The aroma was entered around the hops. Some citrus came out to play, but very subtley.
The taste was centered around the hops, some citrus came out but it was mostly faint. There was a faint malty backbone. The finish was mostly bitter and dry.
On the palate, it was about a medium sort of body and well carbonated, with a lingering dryness, but was still balanced. It was mostly a drinkable beer.
Overall, I say this is a pretty good APA that I would have again though I currently can’t get it in my distribution of where I live, if I lived on the East Coast like I used to, this would be a \"pizza beer\" that would make a great night.

Drought. Golen yellow with off-white faioamy head, floral/lavender aroma, very nicely balanced hoppy aroma, sweetish taste, medium finish. One of the best I’ve tasted recently.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a nice, medium sized white head. Aroma was fresh citrus notes, sweet fruits and malts. Flavor was nice pine hops, good bitterness, with an enjoyable malt character backing up the really fresh tasting hops.

500mL bottle, sent from Gregg657 (thanks a lot, Pete), pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma of brings out light floral notes, some passionfruit, a touch of citrus, and a little grass. Flavour is crisp, clean and refreshing, with citrus zest, passionfruit, piney and floral hops, and a nice grassy bite. Extremely smooth, refreshing and crisp, with a dry, crisp finish. Excellent pale ale of immense drinkability.

500 ml bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/22/2013. Pours moderately hazy golden orange color with a nice 2-3 finger dense and rocky off white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts the entire glass. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, peach, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, light honey, light caramel, light pine, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with huge hop complexity and a fair amount of malt balance; and great strength. Taste of big pineapple, tangerine, orange peel, peach, grapefruit, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light honey, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of earthy floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, orange peel, lemon zest, floral grass, light pine, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity and balance of bright juicy hop flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic pale ale! All around awesome complexity and balance of bright hop and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Draft. Nearly clear gold with lasting head that coated the glass. Nose is fresh floral, piney and different citrus hops. The nose make me want to drink it. Flavor starts with juicy citrus and passion fruits followed a nice caramel backbone. The finish is moderate pine and leafy hops. The body is light but I would never call it thin. Bitterness lingers just slightly then it vanishes, tempting you to take another sip. This is a wonderful brew.
