We’ve partnered with Bavaria’s Weihenstephan, the world’s oldest brewery, for this American take on the classic German Oktoberfest. A malt backbone is balanced by subtle hop character in this crisp, clean, and drinkable crowd-pleaser. Nothing captures the spirit of celebration like a beer among friends.

Bottle: Clear, amber/gold with a smooth, off-white head. Caramel, dark grain malt aroma. Taste is sweet malts, caramel, toasted grains. A little background spiciness. Very clean and solid. A very nice example of the style.

Bottle. Light amber body with a frothy white head. Aroma of malts, bread, caramel, toasted grain, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/lightly sticky texture, lively carbonation. Could have used a bit more bitterness similar to Weihenstephaner Fest Beer. But otherwise, a very enjoyable Oktoberfest that's clean avoiding the raw grain aftertaste in many other Oktoberfests.

Bottle @ home shared by Joes. Clear golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is wheat, sweetish grainy. Taste malts, sweetish malts, a hint of caramel. Decent body and carbonation. Decent.

Pours clear amber with lots of carbonation. Thick white head. Aroma of herbs and resin. Tastes like malt with a spruce hint to it. Palate includes spruce, resin, hops and very subtle earthy notes. Good beer.

Bottle. Amber with a loose white head that doesn't last that well. Aroma of biscuit, bread crust and spice. Not all that rich (or sweet) but there's just enough lusciousness to the malt to hit the spot, then there is a mildly spiced moderate bitterness. Best of these collaborative Oktoberfest beers so far.

Wish i had proper German glassware, but this beer is quite good for what it is. I'd probably like it better after a few in a Munchen park.
