(Bottle sample @ 1420, Copenhagen, June 28/19) Pours pitch black with basically no head. Thick chocolate fudge core, pretty sweet up front, soaked in earthy to nutty brewed coffee, hazelnut spread, light vanilla accents, chewy sort of core to it really, finishing off-dry and a little creamy with milk chocolate and coffee, lingering nutty roasty notes, no hint of alcohol. Full body, creamy, soft carbonation. Lovely rich pastry business, glad to grab a little sample.

Taster at share. Black, oily pour, barely any head. Nose offers some smoky, peaty, nutty notes, as well as the robust roast grain backdrop.Taste is also very earthy. with a very slick and slippery feel. Nice rounded, with a lean towards savory.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong hazenlut and roast coffee. Slick body, roasted malt, nuts, cocoa, boozy finish, very nice.

4 oz. pour from a bottle at EBF, Boston. Saturday Night session. This is way more balanced than the Proper Dose I had directly before it. Hazelnut, coffee, chocolate, thick oat like mouthfeel. Great body.

Sample from the bottle at Lord Hobo, Boston Area. Color is almost black with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Dark chocolate, chocolate, coffee, nuts, toffee, some dry vineous elements and roasted malts. Totally excellent. Amazing complex imp.

Bottle pour @ Lord Hobo, Cambridge, MA. Heavy, sweetish and roasty with loads of coffee, hazelnuts, vanilla, cocoa and mocha notes. Heavy and complex. Super well balanced. Awesome.

From 650ml bottle thanks to MikeBibere!! Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, light spicy - cinnamon, licorice and vanilla. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.
