Our West-Coast inspired India Pale ale offers lots of flavor and aroma without over-powering the senses. A complex blend of 5 hops lend a firm bitterness to the notes of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine. A big dry hop addition of Citra and Simcoe hops give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor.

Can thanks to michcam8: Poured a cloudy copper with a frothy white head. Aroma is dank pungent hops. Taste is nice strong juicy hops forward that light middle malts, but finished with a hops alcohol.

12 oz can received in trade. Thank you Tracy!
Bottom of the can reads: \"11/24/14\".
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a super nice looking glazed over bronzed yellow to light orange color to it. A nice one finger white foamy head appeared and dissipated within about a good thirty seconds.
The smell, wow, had a big punch of citrus to light spice to a light pininess.
The taste was there and packed a super nice punch of citrus flavoring coating my tastebuds. Thereβs a nice spritzy to light citrus/pine aftertaste leading to a crisp and somewhat dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation is good for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a good AIPA that I would have again.

Poured from a can. Pours a clear golden with a moderate sized white head. Lingers well. Restrained citrus hops and moderate high malt. Taste is overtly bitter, with hop flavor in the rear guard. Moderately maltiness and high residual sugars.

12 oz can poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Hazy golden orange with 2.5 fingers of off-white head. Light lacing. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, caramel. Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus, floral hops, light pine, a little bit of caramel. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Delicious.

(Thanks Peter "phaleslu") Can. A- Citrus, funky. A- Orange color, super cloudy liquid, small white head. T- Bitter, subtle grapefruit and orange, piney. P- Full body, average texture, soft carbonation, astringent finish. O- This was a fair IPA. I was going for more of the grapefruit and tangerine flavors as noted, but didnβt seem to get much of them, other than at the front. It was mostly bitter and piney, especially in the finish, but then went back to a lingering orange peel flavor.

Can: Almost clear amber with a short white head. Pine, grapefruit aroma. Malty, grapefruit peel, caramel malt taste. A very straightforward, solid IPA.
