Pours black into a tulip. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Maple syrup aromas. Soft with sweet chocolate, maple syrup and caramel front to back. Lasting sweet chocolate syrup finish.

Flight pour at Ballard taproom. Pours black with small beige head. Aroma has tons of roasted maple and coffee; smells like a maple breakfast sausage. Flavour has a ton of roasted coffee and maple syrup. Excellent.

An at home for 100 OR tick. Dark pour and medium beige head nose is syrup and some batter. Tatses of doughy panache, maple syrup, coffee, chocolate. Little rich.

Precarious Field Dayz with Jerry aka Jamie: Poured a thick black with a brown head. Aroma is smoke, roasted malts, maple syrup. Taste is roasted malts, licorice, ashy, maple, molasses.

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Maple and chocolate aroma with coffee. Chocolate and coffee flavor with light maple. Medium-plus bodied. Chocolate and coffee linger with maple and light caramel.

Can @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, bel cappello di schiuma color cappuccino, mediamente persistente. Al naso note pulitissime di caffè, sciroppo d'acero, vaniglia, cioccolato fondente. In bocca è morbida, con attacco dolce e chiusura amara a bilanciare, caffettosa lunga e persistente, ma senza essere invadente. Corpo pieno, anche se leggermente inferiore alle attese, carbonazione media. Bell'esercizio di pulizia, non male.
