Can shared at ALex's Birthday. Thanks Andrew and Aaron! Big blueberry muffin aromas with some light vanilla notes underneath. Smooth and easy drinking, but does get a tad cloying towards the end. A fun beer though with blueberry abound. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blueberry Muffin on 23 Feb 2019 at 00:23 - Score: 7

10.5 oz draft at Great Notion Brewing in Portland, Oregon. The pour is a cloudy orange blue golden with a minimal white head. The aroma is truly a blueberry muffin, with fresh softly tart blueberry and bready grain. The taste captures the malt grain and blueberry fresh tartness really well. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel and the blueberry tart lingers nicely. Well executed concept.

Well this is weird! :D It does what the name suggests, just pure blueberry muffin beer. Bready and fruity, sweet, rich and delicious. Not much of a sour ale, but we'll forgive that. Awesome label. Silly, mad and amazing.

Cloudy red colour. Indeed, a huge aroma of blueberry jam, and vanilla. Lean body, quite dry, but with enough base to support the juiciness of the berries; the acidity is very mild; moderate vanilla character, that builds the muffin feeling.
Unique, very well made.

Tall can (thanksa lot, Rob O.!) shared with Alex. Packaged on 2018-06-27. Pours a murky purple with a white head. Aroma is sweet with lots of blueberry and lacto. Similar taste, low to moderate tart and sour. Very nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours murky reddish purple with pinkish white foam. Aroma is blueberry muffins, fruity and bready, vanilla. Taste is highly tart (8/10) and acidic with strong blueberry notes, moderately bready. Awesome.

Draft pour, enjoyed at Portland Brew Fest. I really thought I had tried this one before, but I guess not. Cool setting to finally try it in anyway. This beer seems to be the talk of the festival, and I'll try a top 50 in a style brew any day. Pours a bright pinkish red color, the exact color I'd expect in a blueberry beer. People keep talking about the lrecise blueberry muffin aroma, and they are not lying. It is exact, and it picks up from quite a distance. I cannot say enough about the aroma. It's about as perfect as it gets in the style. Taste is a little harsh for me. Really sharp. Huge carb bite. Straw get amount of tart. Acidic. Sweet. Late linger does match the aroma, which is fantastic. I feel like this beer is close to something amazing. Has a few flaws for my taste, but truly unique and enjoyable overall. PS. Probably the weirdest set of numbers I've ever put in a beer rating. I tried my best to explain. It's a crazy beer.
