Draught @ Brewery Cafe, Netherlands.Clear dark red brown color with a large to huge, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, burnt - caramelized / malt - sugar, light moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, burnt sugar - malt, alcohol sweet notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130926]

Sampled from bottle @ The Hague tasting. Clear dark red brown color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly caramel, no real "hopjes-taste" fortunately. Quite decent.

Bottle shared at the "Lets celebrate the fact that Dean is already the Mayor of M&S Den Haag even though itβs only been open for 24 hours tasting!". Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma of caramel, toffee. Yeah thereβs hopjes! Could do with a little more coffee though.

33cl bottle from ABCBeers. Thin creamy tan head. Clear very deep burgundy pour. Needs a bit more coffee in the aftertaste but pretty decent beer. Noticable Haags Hopjes sweet taste
