Old rating from 15-11-15 - Pours a golden colour with a fast disappearing white head. Aromas of caramel, fruit & malt. Tastes of some spice mixed with caramel & fruit. A very moderate bitterness leading to a dry aftertaste. Overall a enjoyable beer without setting the world alight.

Bottle at home. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, orange, some pine resin, hops. Flavour is lightly sweet with a medium bitter finish. Body is light to medium. Thin but nicely hopped refreshing APA.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is honey, some nectar, mild grass, fruity and floral notes along with some sweet malts. Flavour is nectar, tropical fruits, some wood as well as mild sweet malts. Pleasant and quite smooth. Nice and fresh and this would be very nice to have on a warm summer terrace.

Bottle, pours cloudy amber with moderate off-white frothy head. Well-lacing. Lots of honey on aroma, tropical dusty hops in addition. Light to medium body. Oily texture. The flavour starts with dense honey malts. After that powerful resiny hops do their job making the ending really bitter. Unfortunately the bottle is over a year old, so the hops are not fresh at all. I wish I could try it fresher.

This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy/murky burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a pretty quick pace. Lacing somewhat sticks and then slides into the beer.
The aroma starts bready sweet with some roast and then a subtle clean grassy sweet sliding happiness.
The flavor keeps all of the previously mentioned aromas and blends together nicely. Clean grassy sweet aftertaste running into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Sly stickiness.
Overall, I don’t see it as an American styled pale ale, but still good for what it is. Could have again, preferably with fish n’chips.
