Golden, with a floral aroma and a full hoppy flavour that is balanced by a crisp dry maltiness and a rich finish.

500ml bottle from Hop Vault, Stourbridge. My first beer from Salopian. Pours a clear dark gold/light amber, small tight off-white head which lasts. Aroma of pale malts, flowers, grass and citrus. Pleasant. Taste is biscuity malts, floral and citrus hops, grassy finish with a light fruity tang. Light bodied, refreshing without being watery. A very good light gold ale.

Handpump @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Naso fruttato, acetaldeide, leggermente floreale. In bocca è morbida, con amaro leggero, un po' fiacca. Corpo esile, leggermente watery, carbonazione soft. Assolutamente anonima e non pulitissima.

Foamy white head on a clear coppet coloured body. Malt, bitter & berry aroma. Medium bodied, frothy on the the tongue with a sharp back. Caramel, malt, berries & lightly hopped tastes with a long bitter finish. What an excellent pint of Bitter.

Bottle. Appearance is clear amber, golden tinge, a foamy beige head which quickly settles. Aroma is hops, malt, soft hedgerow fruit, trace of caramel and fruit cake. Taste is fruity British hops, bitter hops, malty base, bit of biscuity malt, slightly fruity finish.

Bottle online from The Salopian Brewery. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee, honey, biscuits and a touch of floral. Taste has the same notes again with added caramel and citrus notes on a leafy hop finish. Thin to medium body, fair carbonation and slightly oily buttery mouthfeel. Nice crisp and fresh beer for the low abv.
