50cl bottle from Tanners, Shrewsbury. Pours golden with gentle bubbles and a slim attractive head. Nose of lemon fruit and zest. Taste of more lemon fruit with just a hint of pale malt in the background. Palate is light to medium bodied with a nice tangy texture and a clean zesty finish. Overall good golden ale.

(Cask at Gallows Bird, 20120523) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness and hops. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were hops, sweetness, malts, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly sweet and bit harsly bitter. An average bitter.

Cask @ Gallows Bird, Espoo

Pours clear copper orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of nutty malts and grassy hops. Taste is quite malty with nutty and bready notes. Hints of grassy English hops. Finish is malty and slightly sticky with hints of bitterness. A bit unbalanced and doesn’t taste very fresh.

Cask at the Victoria Station JDW. Amber with a thin white head; grassy aroma; soft and grainy body; with a flabby finish with some grassy bitterness and a faint trace of grapefruit. Rather disappointing.

Straw colour...clear...rich white head...very good lacing
Aroma - sweet light malts...citrus hops...light citrus fruits...hint of orange
Taste - juicy citrus fruits..soft orange..light grapefruit...hint of creamy custard...light biscuit underneath...good flavour for 3.8% abv
Palate - soft carb...smooth texture....more sweet than bitter...citrus tang. Finish - smooth citrus with a bitter biscuity tail
Overall - well made golden ale with a nice light citrus flavour for 3.8% abv. This isn’t a bitter IMHO...top condition today
