One of our first barrel-aged release traditions, Snakes in a Barrel is the sinister bourbon-barrel aged brother of Snake Eyes Imperial Stout. The dark, roasted, Snake Eyes is sufficiently aged to accentuate the charred caramel and thick coffee hints - bringing warming vanilla and sweet molasses notes from the barrel. Ages well in a cool, dark place

On tap at Hop Cat. Black with small beige head. Aroma is really nice bourbon, medium/thick body, low carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is nice bourbon, chocolate, some anise, and some herbal hops.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #11. Draft at Pazzo’s, Lexington. Pours a dark brown color with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, roast, toasted wood, strong bourbon. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, wood, bourbon finish. Medium bodied, slightly booze, nice bourbon character. Very nice introduction to this brewery!
