Earlier Rating: 4/5/2015 Total Score: 2.9Pours a clear, coppery color, topped with a decently sized and lasting off white head. Very pleasant chocolate aroma at the start, followed by some soury fruity/cidery notes. Taste is sweet with lots of chocolate, slight sourness in the finish. A bit weird, unusual, but not bad.

Lukt: sterk duft av Oboy og litt frukter.
Utseende: Gylle lys brun farge.
Skum/kullsyre: Dekkende skum.
Smak: Oboy, plommer og noe mandel.

Bei diesem Bier bin ich zwiegespalten. Ich habe es vor einigen Jahren einmal in meiner Lieblingsbar getrunken und da war ich schwer begeistert, weil es so schöne volle Schokoladearomen hatte. Jetzt habe ich es wieder vor mir. Die vollen Schoko-Aromen sind noch voll da, aber inzwischen merke ich den falschen chemischen Geschmack, der dahinter steht. So übel finde ich es trotzdem nicht, denn es hält was es verspricht und Schoko-Bier kann viel schlimmer gehen. Wenn man gerne Kakao trinkt, so hat man sicher eine Freude mit diesem Bier.

Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, dark amber in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has lots of fake orange milk chocolate, with some peaches and berries. Perfumed too. Rather sickening sweetish, but sort of good. It’s medium bodied and very sweet on the palate, with a low carbonation level. Lots of orange, some milk chocolate. Strange indeed, very strange. 150124

Helder bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is zoet en chemisch met sporen van chocolade en marsepein. Geen succes.

One of the older representatives of the sweet Floris beers, since 1996. Infamous novelty beer, sometimes quoted as the worst from Belgium, and I can see why: it has an artificial, totally dominant aroma of diluted, not even very genuine, soapy cocoa powder and a thin, slick, sugary body. Huyghe never excells and many of their beers are below average in my opinion; this one is downright unpleasant. Not sure if it is more unpleasant than e.g. Floris Cactus or Floris Passion, though, I guess this comes down to personal taste; to me, all of this series is to be avoided.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy brown pour with a substantial creamy off white head, chocolate aroma, taste has sweet chocolate syrup, some caramel and a hint of dark fruit.

Botella de 33 cl en festi de la cerveza de salinas en el momento el 26-07-2014. Un zumo de ligero chocolate con toques de frutas del bosque y además con una buena dosis de gas. Sin mucho mas.

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit gering Schaumkrone. Geruch künstlich süß, schokoladig. Geschmack ebenfalls künstlich süß, sehr schlecht!
