Lunch is a special whale that has been spotted off the Maine coast since 1982. She has what looks like a bite taken out of her fin, which adds to her unique character. We dedicate this beer to her determination and persistence. Keep on swimming!

Taste at Whole Foods. Big catching smell from Amarillo and Centennials, for sure. Slightly hazy gold in glass, thin bit of foam. Taste hours like I remember from my first Gumballhead. Definitely for game of hop burners.

Large rocky white head on pale amber coloured body.
Pine & resinous aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy with a dry finish.
Citrus pith, resinous, orange, floral & grapefruit tastes with a malt backbone.
Makes a great change to drink a proper IPA.

500 ml bottle purchased from Maine Brewing Beer Company. Bottled on 04Mar25 per the label. The pour is a hazed yellow orange with a pretty one inch white thick foamy head that falls slow with nice lace. The aroma is orange citrus, strawberry fruit, floral and a hint of pine. The taste is super clean with citrus floral hop that moves towards the pine with soft bitterness carrying the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the pine drying finish. Really nice IPA, exactly how I like them.

Bottle. Opaque golden pour with a white head. Nose os pine, citrus zest and weed. Taste is slightly sweet upfront, sticky booze and light honey show, then the finish is pleasantly bitter and somewhat dry. It also shows fruity, resinous and citric hints. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, solid old-school American IPA.

Bottle from Beer Boutique, New York. Gorgeous classic West Coast IPA with piney hops, grapefruit, malt, caramel, and orange. Sweetish flavour with a medium bitterness. Body is medium. I miss this style of beer these days, so this is a most welcome find.
