4/III/14 - 1Pt. 9Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - bottled: I/28/14 (2014-244) Thanks to ajax25g for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark blond beer, creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, passion fruit, mango, pineapples, sweet ripe fruits, bit piny, amazing! I could keep sniffing this all night. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: piny start, very bitter, some citrus, blueberries, fruity stuff, grapefruit. Aftertaste: lots of grapefruit, some unripe mango, very bitter, little watery impression, citrus, piny, resinous hops. Smelled VERY promising, but sort of disappointed a bit, cause it was less fruity than it smelled. I'd love some more malty sweetness to balance it out even more. Still, a very great beer.

Hazy pour is a robust amber-orange with a slightly off-white head that is small but full of lace and retained moderately well.
I was hesitant to open this thing so fresh, despite the brewery suggesting you do so, but the aroma seems pretty free of hop burn. Actually quite a nice juicy fruit aroma full of mangoes, pineapples, ruby red grapefruit and lychee. Very nice hop profile and with a good strength. Pine is light on the end and the honey and light sweet bread-like maltiness do a good job of balancing. As it warms, there is quite a bit more citrus, actually a lovely, light tangerine aroma.
Zesty hoppiness in the mouth is not quite acidic, thankfully, but still very bitter and showing more citrus dryness on the finish than the nose lets on. Malts are dry, a touch bready and provide good body. Fruitiness and light pine linger very nicely.
Despite their zealousness for hopping the hell out of their beers, it’s hard not to fall in love with the mouthfeel and near-perfect maltiness of MBC’s beers. If they ever come out with a European/low-alpha hop line of pale beers, I’m going to be VERY VERY happy.

Reviewed from notes. Bottled on 6/25/12. Consumed 6/26/12.
Into a pint glass.
The appearance is a hazy brown colored body giving a half finger white head that lasted for at least a minute. Some slight bubbles were seen speckling the sides of my pint glass. There was barely any lacing.
The smell was based around the pine and citrus with the hops pushing forward for a great combination. I smelled the alcohol once the beer warmed.
The taste had a piney with a bitter hoppy edge and some citrus coming out in second place.
On the palate it held about a sort of medium-ness balanced body somewhat between a wet and dry, somewhat sessionable - I could see this going with its respected food.
Overall, this was a mostly impressive beer that I would definitely have again.

At a tasting at KyotoLefty’s place. This is a great IPA, the aroma is the star it is a fantastic blend of citrus, peach... like a fruit basket. The color is a deep gold with an off-white head of foam. It’s medium-bodied, bitter, ascerbic, fruity with some biscuit. Really good stuff.

Bottle, thanks to my lovely wife and the guy at Tribecca Whole Foods. Huge fruit basket nose, citrus and tropical. Light pine. Summer fruit salad. Sweet, brady malts, jammy fruits, orange marmelaide, tropical fruits, strong bitterness. Amber-orange, hazy, nice head. Quite bitter, rich, smooth. Very nice stuff. Nice malts. Bitterness fades nicely to a fruity dryness.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing. Really nice aroma of strong fruit hop and pine. Medium mouthfeel with strong pine and resin with nice tropical fruit with nice light bitterness in the finish. Really enjoyed this one, very impressive IPA.

Very good but Another One really blew my mind here. Pours dark golden with good head and lacing. A very piney flavour to this one, with some crisp malt hanging around. Soft carbonation, very bitter finish. Slick texture. On tap at brewery.

Bottle. Pours an almost completely clear orange with a big fluffy head and luscious aromas of grapefruit, lemon and pine. Flavor is a wonderful mix of light malt notes and a blast of hops that balances sooooo nicely. This is a wonderful IPA.
