330ml bottle at t' Zudn restaurant, Beernem. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aromas & tastes of cherry, berries, caramel & malt. Medium body. Sweet dry finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', 6.5% abv, best before October 2026. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, cocoa, clove, raisins and light coconut. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, cocoa, coconut, raisins, cherry and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice Dubbel!

Brun med beige skum. Lukter mørk sirup, noe trevirke og belgisk gjær. Søt. Fyldig. Smaker mørk sirup, maltekstrakt og noe sjokolade. Middels lang.

Pours a dark amber/brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of raisins, brown sugar, caramel, a slight chocolate. Pretty sweet, syrupy. Sharp carbo. A decent Dubbel.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma cremosa, color marrone chiaro e dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, pane tostato e agrumi.

Bottle from Lidl at 7%. Pours a very dark brown, nice moderate sized beige head. Aroma is quite sweet with darks malts, treacle, spice, caramel, dark chocolate, some dustiness. Taste starts a little on the light side but then the flavours build well. Liquorice, caramel and brown bread notes come through with some grass and spice notes. Medium bodied, slick. Very good.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown coloured brew with an great balanced taste of caramel, chocolate and roasted malts. One of the greater brews of this brewery.
