(Bottle) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark toast, caramel, raisins, chocolate and orange peel. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, toast, caramel, raisins, chocolate, nuts, coffee, orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced brune. Nice one.

0,75 l bottle. Pours brown with big, lasting tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dried fruit, sweet, a hint of alcohol and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is full, carbonation subdued. Pleasant all in all. Finish is long, pleasant mellow spicy bitterness. Decent.

Aroma of malt, caramel, candy sugar, dried dark fruits, nuts, spicy notes, raisins. Flavour is sweet with a light bittersweet finish. A bit too sugary to be a true winner, but I loved the fruity notes.

[as Lupulus Brune, ABV 8.5%] Bottiglia.

Taste is sweet-ish caramel malty, minimally nutty, dark malty, minimally yeasty fruity, notes of caramel, hints of red berries, hazelnut, a touch of nougat. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice malty flavours, quite sweet though - OK.
