The Blonde de Sassenage, unique in its style, illustrates our passion for beer and our brewing know-how. In the brewer's words: gold in color, it has little bitterness with floral notes of citrus and spices. She is resolutely greedy with a final round of cereals. This recipe is inspired by German Kölsch high fermentation beers, more round and generous than the traditional Pils.

Bottled 750ml. -from Casino Albertville as Le Cretin des Alpes La Blonde. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild spicy fruity nose. Spicy, yeasty, light fruity, touch of vegetables and bitterish finish.

As Le Crétin des Alpes Blonde d'Alpages. Hazy medium golden, lot of small bubbles, good fizzy white head but quickly diminishing. Aroma sweet malt, lemon, grain, coriander. Flavour medium sweet and bitter, light acidity at first which disappears a bit later, malty, citrus, grain, spicy notes. A bit sharpish and short sweetbitter finish; light body, light mouthfeel, lively carbonation; maybe a bit on the thin side but all in all okay.
