Ardenne's Craft Beer, lightly dark, with beautiful shiny reflects. Differents from the classic dark ales, because of its mild character, and the small touch of citrus at the end.

Tap @ Lokaal 9. Brown coloured with a tan head. Nose is buttery, yeasty, slightly fruity, some red fruits, a bit alcoholic.. Flavour is light malty, again a bit buttery, some yeastyness, a bit of fruits. Not sure if the butterness is specific as it hasnt been mentioned much before. Still it spoils the beer a bit.

I was a little disappointed, the beer was a bit flat. Just a generic Belgian dubbel beer, nothing special going on.

On tap at De Drie Dorstige Herten. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma is a bit soapy, coreander, yeast, toast, cocoa. Flavour is dark malts, yeast, again light soapy, yeast, nutty bitter finish. Medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier, 8.5% ABV
Hazy dark brown color with medium sized compact head. Aroma of caramel, with a classic Belgian dusty impression, lightly stale too. Good body, the mouthfeel is still lean; some caramel flavor, with light chocolate and liquorice touch; moderate bitterness, and correct alcohol control.
A dirty beer, not bad, but lacking of character.

Brown with a lasting tan head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and dried fruit along with some yeasty notes. Sweetish malty flavour with fruit and brown sugar, and a nice hoppy finish. Very drinkable

horecabeurs ghent 2012 dark red to brown, small and fast fading foam. smells sweet, much carbo. nice, sugary ( not over the top ) taste. sweet. apearently, thios was made by the guy who once created la chouffe. i prefer the blonde one over this since the blonde one has more uniqueness to it.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Brassigaume 2012. I am not sure why but I appear to have written down my review for this in Dutch.
