Draught @ Festival of Dankness, San Diego. Aroma has bush leaves and sweet pineapple juice. Also some tropical fruits. Flavour has gluey tones, pineapple juice and hints of tropical fruits. A bit too gluey to be drinkable.

Draught @ Modern Times Festival of Dankness, San Diego, CA
Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fresh juicy hops, fruits, grass, citrus, pine and resin. Taste is smooth, hoppy and fresh juicy fruity with some grass, pine and resin. Finish is fresh hoppy, grassy and fruity with some caramely malts. Great stuff.

Part of a stellar tasting lineup at K&L Wines in Redwood City. Malt is the dominator here as I do not get many hops. Lots of caramel and slight toffee aspects. Hazy with head that dissipates quickly. Taste is mostly malt. Not what I had hoped for....but also against some stellar beers in a 12-flight taster.
