hazy dark amber colour, huge yellowish head; aroma of pine resin, some grapefruit, hints of peach and minimal honey; taste is fully dominated by amarillo - pine resin, minimal citrussy notes - and bitterness! I really like it

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; Clear copper pour with medium off white head, hops are trying to bully theirselves into the aroma but fail, taste has orange and big malts, slightly drying a bitter finish.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a tulip. Hazy, golden-amber with a dense, off-white head. Fruity aroma with pines, grass, resins and caramel malts. Floral and yeasty notes. Taste is bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Finishes bitter with grapefruit, pines and caramel malts. A true Mikkeller classic.

Bottle - Earthy and a bit of pine. Clear orange with a thick rich head. Sweet candy and citrus, not too bitter. Lot’s of body and a nice sticky finish.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy amber with short lived off-white head. Subtle pleasant aroma; mainly pine but with orange notes. Light to medium body with nice carbonation. Lightly malty, biscuity initial taste with some balancing fruity notes develops into a pretty aggressive hoppy bitterness. Overall, interesting to taste the single hop, but I understand why it is normally not used in isolation.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly cloudy copper colour. The aroma is malty, rich and with a hint of hops. The flavour is medium bitter with low carbonation, a little chewy with some nice bitterness in the palate. I didn’t appreciate this beer quite so much as other people seem to have.

33cl bottle. Amber colour with a frothy beige head with a nice lacework. Aroma is floral, fruity and moderate hoppy. Flavor has an average bitterness, grassy, caramel and grapes hints. The final is moderate bittery with a decent duration. Carbonation and body are medium.

Bottle at Bruce’s Housewarming Party Tasting, London. Pours a lightly hazy, dark gold with a small, creamy, off-white head. Mild nose with just some light, dry grass and pine, along with hints of alcohol and orange. Nice flavor of melon, with hints of florals and spice, light wood, grapefruit. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Medium sweet finish with some fruitiness, a bit of grass and pine, light dirt and sand. It doesn’t have a ’hop kick’, a bite, but it’s a nice drinkin’ beer.
