Blend of lambics aged on average 16 to 18 months and of Merlot grapes.
Lambic can be rightly considered the missing link between the worlds of wine and beer, and Saint Lamvinus takes this one step further by adding grapes normally intended for wine production.
Intense, fruity beer that lingers on the palate and has a clear connection to its winemaking origins.

Paired with sous vide Swedish wagyu cross ribeye with buttertossed new potatoes in wilted bitter greens and sauce béarnaise. Deliciously fruity and amazing now but will be even better in 3-4 years as usual. Great stuff the spring back had 2 bottles.

Printed bottle date: 14 November 2016. Clear red, light ring head. Sour grains, hay, grapes. Fruity and sour with firm horseblanket funk. Sharp high pitched fruity sour reminiscent of strawberries, to some more bass sour notes close to grapes. Soft carb.

Semi-hazy ruby pour with a thin pink-white head. Notes of mouldy oak barrel, sweet grapes, red wine, tannins, soft lambic funk. Good stuff.
