75 cl. bottle @ home. Obtained in a trade with Martinus. Thx! Bottled on 30/08/2013. 421 bottles made which is astronomical compared to what I am used from these guys. Pours a very dark Bordeaux hued, darkest pomegranate brown with zero head. Looks very much like a very dark wine. Smell is old decaying wood, barrels, watery wine, something wild (some wild additives that feel very familiar to me) , chocolate, faint coffee grounds, lots of wood & feels almost a bit like Porto and / or wine was poured in. Taste is touch watery, lots & lots of very oaky wine (I know that this is Porto but I am reminded more of wine here), very old falling apart wood, something faint wild, bacteria, fermenting blackberries, chocolate cake, touch warming. Lots of cake / oak / wine. Touch watery, flat. Doesn’t feel like it turned out 100 % like it should have but I still quite enjoyed this one.

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of phenols, straw, lemons, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, malt, over ripe fruits, and lemons, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep reddish brown with a tan head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma is full of sour red fruits with a bit of dark grain underlying. Flavor starts a bit thin with a growing sour red fruit note.

Bottled, # PR2 bottle date 30-08-2013, BB 28-5-2015, large sample. Hazy ruby color, short off-white head. Aroma is tart of cherry, oak wood, hint of port and red wine, hint of vanilla. Great balance. Quite sour in taste, hint of fruity sweetness, slight dry. In the finish theres more wood notes and a hint of vanilla. All quite smooth, never astringent. Awesome brew! --- Beer merged from original tick of La Petite Rouge on 09 Nov 2012 at 17:45 - Score: 10. Original review text: Very nice flemish sour!
