Coolship Lager is brewed using a traditional double decoction mash and hopped with fine European noble hops. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour. It is then transferred over our baudelot cooler into our open tanks for fermentation. After a cool fermentation using a classic Czech lager yeast it is cellared for several months prior to release.

Can to lager glass
Appearance: murky yellow to orange color with a three finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: light sweet foral/earthy hops meshing with some sweet grains and light breadiness
Flavor: moderately sweet through the prior mentioned aromas, mild aftertaste of sweet grains and floral hops
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, semi-smooth, finishes semi-dry and crisp with a little twang
Overall: not a bad lager, is it really a Czech pale lager? Hmmmmm...maybe it is. I believe I could come back to this.

On tap at The Greats of Craft NYC, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has lots of spicy Saaz upfront, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is well-hopped, with spicy hops, plenty of floral notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Spicy, floral, and crisp. Very good.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely mineral aromas with crackery malt notes. More of the same on the palate....super crushable. Very nice.
