Anna (1902-1993) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rest upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this honey Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Anna.

Thanks Huhzubendah for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing well filtered neon yellow with 1.5 fingers of clean white foam. The nose shows sharp tart notes with notes of brett in between. The palate fully carbonated and light bodied. Light maltiness with a medium tartness throughout. A bit one dimensional.

Bottle shared thanks to RandomstrangerNL. Hazy pale yellow golden with white head. Lemon, wheat flour, gooseberries, soft mineral water, funk, fresh cut grass, a hint of lactic notes, soft flowery notes on the nose, light unripe apricot. Almost medium sour and light sweet. Almost medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation.
