Bottle at Mr Hangover’s 2014 Nieuwjaarsborrel, Den Haag and supplied from the brewery. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is big battery acid apple. The flavour is acidic with a light vinegar apple citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottled as Old Chimneys Stony Lane Medium Cider. A light golden cider with a white head. The aroma has sweet notes of delicious apples as well as light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of vitamin C and apples, leading to a very tart finish - the acidity draws some mouthwater. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, thx to fonefan. As Stony Lane Medium Cider, 6.5% ABV. It pours a slightly hazy yellow-golden body with a minimal white head. Applesour aroma with cellar and citrus notes. Gives a fresh impression. In the mouth it’s astringent, dry and sourish, with flavors of citrus, cellar and sour or maybe unripe apples. Asting finish with apples and citric flavors. Not a world class cider in my book, but sure drinkable and refreshing. (080824)
