Bottle at home, very pale golden beer, medium head. Aroma is grassy malt. Taste some malts, quite some sweetness to it, meh average pale lager. plus side is you can drink it very easily away.

330ml bottle into glass. Standard euro-nose, all bready malts and plasticine. Clear amber beer, small diminishing head. Lazy carbonation, tiny bubbles. Light-bodied, mild fruity/tinny finish. No world beater but likable.

Various bottles in the UK and Portugal. Pours dark yellow with a big white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of grain and faint hops. Taste is bready malt, more grain. I remember this one being more of a pilsner than a pale lager.

From a 330ml bottle on 5/1/2016. Pours a clear light golden with almost no head. The aroma features a bit o grain. Taste wise, there’s more grain and some sweet malt, with a subdued Euro lager taste. Light bodied with average carbonation. A very prosaic pale lager. It may be the winner of 28 consecutive gold medals at the prestigious Monde Selection competition, but I can only assume that its only competitors must be shite akin to Pure Blonde, Carlton Cold and Bud. But don’t be scared off from trying the Super Bock stout, which is actually quite nice and under-rated.

Bottle from Supervalu, Carrick on Shannnon [191215]
Usual lager appearance
Aroma of grain, light struck skunky (why in a brown bottle?), poor nose
Taste of sweet light caramel, grain, light metallic bitter, poor taste
Palate - Medium carb, light bitter. Finish as main flavour, light bitter metallic.
Overall - Threw out last 1/4 of bottle. Super Bock. Super Shit.
