Tap at Jardim da Oliveras, Monchique. Its really quite a decent macro lager. Like Sagres I have no complaints. Cardboard aroma. Nice powerful fizz. (15/10/2021) 5.8

Keg at hotel in Tomar, after a couple of bottles on trip. Super Bock is really rather easy and gluggable and a decent beer by macro lager standards. 5.8 to 5.6. (23/3/2025)

Bottle. Country #76 finally Portugal! Pours headless clean gold. Corny on nose. Tastes sweetish, corny, bit malty, sharp carbonation. I guess somewhere on the sunny beach it could be okay.

Bottle from local Home Bargains store - says 5% is very small letters. Has a strange aroma – a mixture of bread rolls, brussel sprouts and cheese ? Sometimes I got a hint of juicyness as well. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Taste is variable, sometimes sharp lemon, sometimes sweet malts, occasionally metallic. Grains and juices are there too in small quantities. It’s a bit all over the shop really.
