The term Pale Ale characterizes a lighter type of ale brewed in lighter malts. A beer with a distinctive hops fruity notes and a marked bitterness. The name is derived from a Bulldog named Krut. With over 40 pounds of muscle, Krut deserved respect. he was a true joy spreader just like this beer.

World Cup Tasting. Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with lots of caramel along with citrus and hay. Sweetish malty flavour with citrus hops, a touch of tea, and a rather bitter finish

330 ml bottle at home, ordered from Ocado. Copper with a lively little white head. Figgy caramel aroma, a bit of malt and some sharp spruce hop. Taste starts a bit sweet then progresses to bitter. Watery palette. This isn’t bad - refreshing and fairly tasty - but it isn’t overly distinctive or original.

At a tasting, thanks Ariel, small stable bubbly head, clear very deep orange, to light brown colour, light fruity hoppy aroma, flavour of stale grains, and a hint of hops, medium almondy bitterness. Nice but much too old.

No head, looks dark amber. Quite strong aroma. Hops and fruits in aroma. Noticable grapefruit and caramel in taste and aroma. Grapefruit bitterness is dominating in taste, some caramel in the background. Noticable bitter aftertaste. Medium-high carbonation. Good beer, but there is something missing, that doesn’t permit it to be great.

Taster at the flying elk, a nice amber color, mild bitterness, mostly pine but has a bit of a rough maltiness to it. Ok.
