Can, from City Beer. Pours cloudy rich golden-orange, very small frothy off-white head, sweet citrus aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter salty grapefruit-papaya taste with alcohol undertones, thin body, long bitter finish. Bitter, but not bad.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy yellow with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with trace sparkle. Aroma is mild lemon citrus and fruit. Taste is as aroma, somewhat astringent, tangy, grainy, mild grapefruit. Palate is light-to-medium body with thin texture, soft carbonation and dry, grainy finish as taste. Overall, not quite as fruity/juicy as advertised and grainy backbone more apparent.

Draught at Lulu's, 3/28/18.
Mostly clear, glowing honey-orange-apricot. White head fading steadily to ring.
Melon, peach, floral/potpourri give a good mix of standard NE IPA notes (tropical fruit, juice) with some spicier, earthy and floral notes mixed in for good measure and complexity. It's not yeasty (fruity, bubblegummy) nor does it have the rich, honeyed, mango-lime juice. So probably not really going for a classic NE IPA, which is fine. Still interesting stuff here. No resin or alcohol, nor flaw.
In mouth it's soft, lightly watery with spicy black tea, orange rind and lightly bitter, perfume-like notes through the middle. Needs a bit more malt and/or juicy, flavorful hop, as it's a bit thin, bland and specialty malt-heavy.
