On tap at Evil Twin NYC - Dumbo, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma has oily coffee, vanilla beans, dark sugars, and a hint of coconut. Flavour is surprisingly absent of the adjuncts, with medium roasted malt, dark sugars that have been fermented out, and low in residual sugars. Surprisingly smooth for 15.5%, but also surprisingly absent on the vanilla, coffee and coconut. Its fine, but this one leaves my scratching my head with how underwhelming it is.
