Here it’s listed as India style lager but on the can it says pilsner Style and I think the can label trumps the description here. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the can description so well but it’s not a bad beer kind of hoppy although a little soft carbonation.

Tap at Erzbierschof Bern. Pours cloudy yellow with a big smooth head. Aroma is yeasty, citric hops, grassy hops. Body is light, very bitter throughout, soft carbonation and only a little sweetness. Smooth texture. Palate is dry with little hop flavours. Good, but nothing spectacular.

500ml can. Pours clear golden with a one-finger thick frothy white head, great retention, lovely lacing too - one of the best looking lagers I’ve ever had. Mild fruity grassy peachy hop aroma. Taste is much the same, fruity hop flavours, grassy, grainy malts, pine, light bitter finish. Medium bodied, oily texture. Great lager.

500ml can into shaker. Nose is earthy hops and distant acidic fruit, a little pepper. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a towering crown of white foam. Medium carbonation. Cleansing clean mouthfeel and taste leads to a fresh cashew finish with some very late earthy hops and herbs. It’s nice and certainly easy-drinking.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy tawny color with moderate bubbly head. Aromas of dirty malts, caramel, floral hops and grass. Flavors of bitter grass, toasted grains, and old wet malts. Bottled 8 months ago but comes across as stale. Not a fan.

Lys brun farge med tynt hvitt skum. Lukter av humle og fersken. Smaker også godt av humle. Minner mer om ipa. Medium bitter avslutning.

Gotta love finding a random top 50 in style beer. Woops. Draft pour pint at the Taphouse. Pours a clear copper color with almost no head. Rich, fruity hop aroma. Flavor is a bit metallic, fruity remainder. Empty metallic linger. Doesn’t have the expected hop bomb. Overall a good premium lager for sure, but as an overall beer, it was alright.
