500ml can. Cloudy pale amber with a white head that collapses. Some hay but mostly hop aromas: floral, pine, peach, tropical, citrus. All pleasant enough but not telling a cohesive tale. And there’s not much more to the taste. Lots of fruit, resin gets a bit harsh and maybe plasticy at the fairly bitter finish. A bit watery. I guess the aroma hops are nice. More for people who don’t like golden lagers rather than people who do but are often disappointed by them. After the P1 Radio pils, this was a let down.

New Beer Distributors, NYC can ($4.75): pours orange gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is flowers, nice malts, and some minerals. Taste is pretty damn good. Nice light hop bitterness. Just enough sweetness. Great body. I dunno. I am really digging this beer right now.

On tap at the Grain Store, Cambridge. Orangey gold, slightly hazy with a ring of white head. Apricot and kumquat aroma, with hints of hard citrus and spruce. Bitter dry lager taste, but the malt profile comes through, providing balance. Bitter, almost acrid aftertaste, but it works on this beer. Body is a bit watery, but carbonation is spot on. Impressive.

Ambar anaranjado, espuma escasa. Gran aroma: mango, naranja. Muy frutal, muy lupulada. En boca, gas notable y excelente sabor a mango, dulce y muy marcado. Es realmente explosiva en boca, llena de sabor, muy bebible. Pero el final es altamente seco y muy, muy amargo. Otra gran Mikkeller.

On tap at Beer for Geeks. A light gold pour with a vibrant hoppy nose. Crackery malts and bitting hop bitterness make for a solid hoppy pils.

I thought this was the same as Mikkeller’s American Dream as well so I am guessing this is a Japanese name variant??? On tap at World Craft Beer Tasting. A deep copper pour with a big citrusy sweet lemon hop bouquet. The taste is bitter green earthy pine, kind of one dimensional but with enough malt backbone to support it. The finish is a clean lingering bitterness. Overall nice but not so special.

33cl "Mikkeller, or Die" bottle from beer52.com. A hazy pale amber pour with a tight white head; citrus aroma; sharp grapefruit taste with some tropical fruit; and a lingering bitterness with a dry finish. Pleasantly refreshing.
