Fairly hazy yellow and straw golden coloured body with a nice haze and a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruit with a bunch of pine and resin notes with seemingly some nice bitterness and alpha acids here with a supportive malt - from the nose at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Fairly hoppy and resinous, piney and grapefruity hop notes show through with a decidedly PNW hop feel that shows some nice bitterness, but enough support from the malts without much sweetness at all, perhaps a dash of the grapefruit peel. Aftertaste shows some rich hoppiness with a lot of pine, resin and floral aspects and some slight nutty and earthy malt flavours at the end that end nicely, and crisp. Overall, an enjoyable IPA that hits more like an older school PNW IPA that is clearly not on the Imperial spectrum (despite what the can might suggest) and is enjoyable, but not something worth going out to try and find. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's in Alexandria, Virginia on 29-November-2021 for US$1,99 (mixed six pack!) sampled on the streets of Washington while looking at the National Christmas Tree with my family on 12-December-2021.

Pours a hazy dark amber from a can. Light tropical fruit pulp aroma and flavor. Sweet and a little thick in the mouth but no great shakes. Good beer.

Draught @ Augur's Well. Hazy orange with foamy off-white sharp citrus peel-unripe mango aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel pineapple mango taste, smooth body, long finish. Flavorful and juicy.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a murky yellow color with a large foamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was tangy cactus, lemon and a light earthy note. The flavor was tangy and citric with pineapple, cactus, lemon and sugar. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
