Draft at Idletyme Brewpub in Stowe, VT. Hazy pale yellow color. Smooth mouthfeel. Light. Very mainstream flavor profile. Better flavor than most helles'

Tap. Pours clear golden, medium white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is light, floral and bready notes, with some grain and a hint of lemon. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, floral and grain with slight tartness. Not sure why this is not a helles, but whatever. Light body, fairly low carbonation. Decent.

Poured into a pilsner glass, the appearance was a golden hued semi-burnt almost orange color with a nice level one finger’s worth of white foaminess. Dissipates at a decent pace. Sly lacing.
The aroma takes on crisp bready malts, sly sweet corn, light toast, and a grassy sweet hoppiness underneath.
The flavor yields to the sweet side of the malts. Hops make a sly effort underneath. Slow malty aftertaste, not so much sweet but it’s there. Wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels spot on. Yeast produces a nice smoothness all around.
Overall, nice kellerbock that I would have again.

Clouded yellow. Sweet nose slightly turpentine. Bitter taste. Hint of citrus and clove. this is good but not memorable.
